Faith Television Network

Privacy Policy

FaithTV is dedicated to protecting your privacy as you visit our web sites. The privacy that we extend to our web browsing guests is exactly that which we expect when we surf the internet. You can expect the same standard of privacy protection for your personally identifiable information on our internet web sites that we extend in every other interaction with FaithTV.

FaithTV's policy on privacy is in accordance with the Direct Marketing Association's
Marketing Online Privacy Principles, as agreed upon by the Online Privacy Allianace, the leading association devoted to promoting and developing online and internet services world wide.

Personally Volunteered Information

Only on a voluntary basis do we collect personal information from our visitors. Personally identifiable information may include name, address, e-mail, etc. The personally identifiable information that you may volunteer to us is used to fulfill your request, provide you with information or to market products, events, and/or services which may be of interest to you. These offers may come directly from us, from our direct affiliates or from other reputable organizations whose privacy policies are assumed to be in line with those of FaithTV. Each offer that may be made is carefully examined to ensure that it meets our high standards. Additionally, every effort is made to be sure that these offers reach only those individuals most likely to be interested in them. If your personally identifiable information is to be used in any fashion other than outlined above, the intent will be expressly stated on this web page. The question that is applied to all after-visit contact and/or correspondence here at FaithTV is, "would I like to receive this?"

Other Personal Information

Our web server is programmed to collect the domain names (not the e-mail addresses) of visitors to this web site. This information may be reviewed to measure basic usage data, such as, number of visits, average time spent viewing each web page, and the pages re-viewed, etc., which is used by FaithTV to improve the content of our web pages. This information is never shared with persons or companies outside of our organization.

Cookies

"Cookies" may be used on some pages of our web site to assist us in better serving our visitors each time that they may return for a visit to the web site. A cookie is a small piece of information that our web servers send to your browser and that is stored on your computer. That small piece of information allows our servers to say, "Ah-ha...... we have hosted this person previously," and it also allows servers to recall things about your past interaction with the web site, like, "This visitor told us that they like to view the temperature displayed in Celsius, not in Fahrenheit." The cookie technology utilized by FaithTV contains only the information that you submit to FaithTV via our contact pages and visits, in addition to the browser collected information obtained as you move from page to page on our web sites. You therefore have control over the information that is stored in the cookie. Remember, you can always set your browser to warn you before a cookie is sent to you. This will give you more and much better control over the cookies process.

The data collected utilizing cookie technology helps us in our analysis of the browsing patterns of our visitors so that the content and design of our web sites can be improved. The information collected as a result of this cookie process is for the exclusive use of FaithTV and its direct affiliates, and will not be shared with others.

Log Files

Almost every time that you visit any web site on the internet, web servers 'log' your interaction with the web site in something called a log file. Standard log files, like ours, contain basic information such as times of page visits, what pages were viewed, and the IP address of the visitor. This information is used to analyze trends, web site administration, to track movement around our web site, and to gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. No effort ever is made to relate an IP address with an individual visitor.

When we share log file information with our advertisers or partners, it is done only in aggregate format. For example, "Our average visitor looks at 'nn' number of pages on each visit", or the last page viewed was "xyz.html.

Newsletters

If a visitor wishes to subscribe to any of the offered newsletters, we will ask for some basic demographic information. We use this information to learn more about the kind of tools those requesting the newsletter may most wish to receive. In the future, that gathered demographic information may be used to send content that may be of interest to you. For example, our subscribers in Japan, may be made aware of news that we deem as of interest to them.

You may choose not to provide any information other than your e-mail address. You will still be able to benefit from the services of FaithTV

Surveys or Contests

From time to time FaithTV may request information from visitors via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys and/or contests is voluntary. The visitor, therefore, chooses whether or not to disclose any information at all. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), demographic information (such as zip code and age range), and more subjective questions about how you use our web site. With surveys, the information that you give us will not be associated with you, and that information will only be aggregated and used to allow us to monitor and improve the use and satisfaction of the web site. We may also share this aggregated information.

As for contests, contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. We may stage contests in conjunction with sponsors. When this is the case, we may wish to share the information that you give with that contest sponsor, but if this is the case, you will be clearly notified.

Contests are not available to visitors from every country and every state in the United States. We regret that, due to varying laws, contests are not offered to and are not available to visitors and web site users from every countries and every state.

Contest winners, in the case of high value awards, are required to disclose their true full name, and for tax purposes, their social security number. Winners give the right to FaithTV to use their name and likeness in various promotional materials.

If our online data files include personally identifiable information about you, you are able to update that information. Please see the contact information below.
